Raise/Resurrect During Battle

Conjurer get a trait at level 28 which allows them to Raise fallen allies during battle. Arcanist does not. However, I was in a dungeon and a DPS died in the AoE and a Summoner was able to resurrect him during the boss fight!

As a White Mage, I was looking forward to this as a unique aspect to the job.

Even the tooltip for the Arcanists resurrect spell does not mention that it can be used in battle.

If this is working as intended then Conjurer have a trait which is a complete waste.

I can confirm that Resurrection allows ACN/SMN/SCH to revive a target in battle. I'm not sure if this is intended or not, though; Resurrection is ACN/SMN/SCH-only, while Raise can be used by GLA, PGL, MRD, LNC, ARC, CNJ, THM, ACN, PLD, WHM, and SCH. It seems the reason Enhanced Raise exists is to stop other jobs from being able to use it in battle, and since Resurrection is ACN/SMN/SCH-only, there isn't that worry.

Conjurer's Raise can be cross-classed, and the Trait enables it to be used in battle, making Battle Raise exclusive to two classes (Conjurer and Arcanist) while out-of-battle Raise is avaiable to everyone.

That is the reason that Trait exists on Conjurers.
Don't be sad, though. Arcanists also have completely useless trait, Aetherdam I. Just like Greased Lightning, the first Aetherdam could CERTAINLY have been native to Aetherflow, there was never any need for a trait gained TWO levels after Aetherflow to allow you to have the first stack.

Well seeing as we only get 11 traits, and Enhanced Raise is trash.. we should at least get an extra trait since it seems to be down to their lazy coding that we need this trait to separate us being able to Battle Raise so those who borrow Raise can't.
If not an extra trait, then they should at least give us better coding... perhaps the game could recognize when you're a White Mage (not CNJ) and that would activate the Battle Raise. Then replace the Enhanced Raise trait with something more useful.

Also, it should mention in the ACN Resurrection tooltip that it can be used in battle.
