Annoying Forum Restrictions!!!

So what's up with these annoying forum restrictions?

1000 charater limit per post. Why?
I know you can simply edit your post to write more than 1000 chars but simply removing this limit would be much easier!

Can't post multiple times in the same forum.
So I did a post in the healer forum a few hours ago. Now I wanted to make another post in the same thread ("Useful macros") and receive an error that I can't post anymore because I reached the daily limit or my main character doesn't have the required level. Also I can't post in any of the class forums due to this error. But it seems like I can post freely in every other forum. Doesn't make any sense.

With restrictions like these the forum is pretty useless in my opinion.

They simply want to prevent spam and whining, even though your threads are neither. They do like overkill do SE! ;)
