Will We be able to get our time back for not being able to log in?

I do not have much time in the day to play, usually around 5-8ish. I played during the pre-sale ok, but when it launch i have yet to be able to get on, not even once.
Unlike guild wars or something where they are not charging per month that's fine, but this is p2p. So are we going to lose out on the entire month free, just because we cannot log in?
So i was wondering will we get credit back or time back for the time that the server is full?

doubt it, but that would be nice

Possibly, but don't expect an announcement until the server issues are fixed.

Like PsychicKoala said, we probably won't get a solid answer until after the server issues are fixed, but in Yoshida's latest letter he did mention that they are looking into some form of player reward to make up for the problems such as extending the free-to-play period.

Well there's your answer, SE has never been shy about player compensation. 1.0 players got to play that horrible game free for months.

perhaps some form of stylish headwear. Or ingame dealwithit glasses.

i mean this in a non-sarcastic way too, i would love some dealwithit shades.
