Quick question about gathering animation.

I remember back in February they said they'd continue to 'fix' the gathering animation, because when they sped it up, it looked really... well, characters on drugs.
Today (I have been away since February for a trip in Japan, please forgive my ignorance), I went to log some wood and to my surprise, my cute little Lalafell is still under drugs when gathering (animation is too quick and feels really artificial).

So, my question is: it is still under development right? :confused: It is disappointing in its current state.
(It was much more pleasant for the eyes to watch before it was sped up. Maybe make the characters continuously do their gathering animations? It would allow a slower animation and a quicker process of gathering -- just a thought.)
