Why the fuck would you put me in a queue if you're just going to 1017 me? Square Enix, this is just rude.

It's not rude. It's an error. Its not like it was done on purpose.
Just please, keep your pants on until they i ncrease capacity.
These threads are becoming more hilarious.
I'd like to draw your attention to the fact that 1017 is not an error. It is a signal that everything is full. Which I don't know why I'm in a queue if it's going to 1017.
I forgot to load my prepaid debit card (which I use for all internet things since my CC got ripped off a few months ago). Soo they could not charge me for the CE I ordered, so tonight I wont be able to play anymore! I did it on accident but turns out I now cant buy a copy of the game anyways digitally. So guess I am going to just wait till they fix these issues then buy the game. Since I cant login anyways because of 1017 error anyways. So in my case they might have accidentally lost me as a customer. Weeeeeeee.
a few hundred thousand simultaneous users tells me that it wasn't botched by any meaning of the word. Most MMOs would kill for that many simultaneous users.
We all know about the problems, and we also know they're working to fix them. there is no point or value in a being a bitter jerk, it won't get things fixed faster. They already explained in great detail why their level of preperation for the current number of users was off the mark. Stop being a <something> and either hate them forever and leave, or suck it up and wait.
I'm not excusing the fact that they made mistakes, but if it was as "botched" as you say it was, it would already have empty servers and be terminating service in a few months
your free time lasts at least until the 10th (1.0 players) or some time past that (new player free trial). So you should still be able to play 9or try to at least) well beyond the time they're supposed to have straightened this out by.Quote:
I have played through the launch of many MMOs. EQ, EQ2, Vanguard, AO, DAOC, Eve, GW2. None of them wouldn't let me play for days at a time. None of them had this issue. (Granted, AO and Vanguard had problems, but you could at least play). We may not be paying for time yet, but we did pay for the game. I don't understand how people like you defend this nonsense. It's as if SE is paying you and not the other way around.
If you bought a new car, would you be supporting the manufacturer if it only started 1 out of 5 days? I don't understand the blind loyalism video game companies seem to get.
