question for 1.0 players that did not participate in the alpha or beta

I'm posting this on my brother's behalf who was a 1.0 player.

He is interested in playing arr, he isn't sure how to activate his account to play it though. Does he enter his old 1.0 code on mogstation or does square need to send him a new code?

If he was a 1.0 owner with a registered 1.0 game, all he needs to do is log in and play. He gets 2 weeks free. He can log into mogstation and check his account status if needed and set up a subscription if he decides to continue to play.
