Can you see signatures from crafters?

I made some gear for someone and when they equipped it, I could not see my signature. However on lodestone I can search for them and see the gear with my signature. Does anyone else have this problem?

It should be at the bottom of whatever thing you crafted. It's just your name there.

Names can be stripped if the item is placed in Glamour Chest, if I recall.
