Story was very well done. Especially anything after the third primal battle. Feels very Final Fantasy-like. Last few fights feel super epic.
Big 'thank you' to the story writers.
And I'm looking forward to what is waiting ahead.

I agree ... I hope a certain someone is still alive
(spoilers..maybe, tried to avoid giving much info)
I have not finished the main scenario yet. Beat the second primal and witnessed all the events after that. Gotta say: that was extremely sad to watch and do!:( Everytime I wa s in the Waking Sands I took the trouble of talking with everyone and screenshotting all the interesting characters like Clive, Noraxia, Liavinne, etc....
So yeah the story really motivated me to go on and face the Empire! It pulled me in!
All Good Things :'(
I guess having well built character is one of reasons for players coming back to FF games one after another, I am sure alot of people who played earlier games would be quite annoyed with one of the good characters getting killed when it was getting good and story-wise its always good to kill off the character that you get to like the most or think is cool by the bad guys so you are more into it when going after them.
come now do you really think one of the main characters of the game is gonna end-up dead like that? you are forgetting one thing when it comes to FF games and that is "Neo" if you wanna bring someone back you make em Neo pretty much all the Main Bosses come back as Neo so why not him ?
i freaking love this game story and all fantastic job square!
I felt the important story parts were rushed and squeezed in between a lot of filler. Villains were really underdeveloped, outside maybe Gaius, and that was only really at the end. I think they could have done better.
