1017, updates, upgrades and beyond.

Guys take this as you wish but this is flat out truth and I am in no way defending the whole server congestion idea.

There has already been a few posts about 1017 and server connection issues, the devs themselves are publicly upset and these issues have been announced verbally and in person, not just through words on a website. You can't just rush a fully loaded queue system onto a server that isn't prepared to hold a certain capacity. For example, I could run a mumble server(voip program) and if my data isn't stable enough to run that server from whatever box it's coming from my server will crash, endlessly, the second it comes up and reaches suggested capacity again it will crash over and over again. They're going to have to steadily patch this as to not ruin the game but allow it to be in a working state while they implement something to relieve the issue.


You can argue and tell me I'm wrong but it's just ignorance, everybody is so mindlessly flooded with the ideas of oh why was there never issues like this with other top tier game titles. World of Warcraft was unplayable for it's launch because they allowed the capacity without creating a stable set up for people to play in. It creates high latency and tendency to crash/shut down. MMOs run differently from your average multiplayer games. For how many people are online on these servers it's some of the best quality of servers I've ever seen for those lucky enough to get on. If you guys would relax and understand nothing is going to be perfect even if there was a beta with plenty of time to test nobody would be so uptight. Realistically this game came out when most people went back to school, if this game is your main concern a game that didn't even cost a full MSRP of what is usually 60 dollars for a triple A title. Good luck graduating on time. Just wait it out a week or so and things will get better, this is a reputable game franchise from one of the best possible companies around(in my opinion of course) I'm not somebody who works for SE backing up anything, I'm a 20 year old kid like most of you guys/girls on here. This game will make it out of the shitter sooner than later and nobody can deny that this is a fantastic game for the little bit people have played between beta and launch. So instead of getting up tight, crying, spam calling SE who's currently busy with two other triple A titles they're preparing for the months to come especially with PS4/Xbox One, just cool it you'll get to play and be lucky you're getting any free game time at all not all of it will go to waste, you'll be playing before you know it and everybody will be able to enjoy this game.



tl;dr version: Just be patient like they said, sucks I know, but trust that this isn't some new or third party company, they've been making quality games since most of us were kids and trust that they'll do the same now.
