MY level is wrong on the forums.

Hi i wanted to know if you could fix my character lvl. Im a lvl 26 Gladiator in game but the forums say 21. im worried this will hold me back with making threads. also with lvl 50. plz fix or give clarity i would really appreciate it.

ya it wont update. my classes in my armory say im lower then i am too. dont know if equipment has something to do with it bu my lvl is higher then any of my classes say. my goldsmith class in the change class option says lvl 1 but im lvl 10. it doesnt make sense

I guess this is as good a thread as any to drop my little mini-rant/suggestion that won't get read by the ones who need to read it :P

SE should adopt SOE's approach to forums. Each realm gets its own forum. And for the love of the gods why are we stifling communication with these pointless level restrictions? Its great you managed to get ARR's database to talk with vBulletin/IPB/whatever it is you run, but why are you using this to limit socialization and communication? It does not make any sense to me honestly.

We can't even post in general discussion more then x times a day, or at all under level 15.

Also to op: it takes a few hours after your last logout from the game to update

yeah look at you lvl 26 u got nothing to worry about. this thread wa for technical support not for anyones opinion so unless you work for SE i dont care what u have to say

SE seems to have several databases where character info is held and they're not updated in real-time or even immediately you log out. If you get to a level that goes over a forum threshold I wonder if selecting a different character (if you have one) then back to the first one would force a refresh. Maybe.

I assume that wasn't directed at me, since I haven't made it to 20+ as of this post. But the answer is still the same. Usually within an hour of logging out, it will update here.
Square-Enix, even if they did talk to their fans, would only have the same answer for you.

Lol, what a silly thing to worry about. It's obviously not going to update immediately.....

Hundreds of thousands of people having legit issues with the game.
One person is concerned about their level appearing wrong on a forums.
