Item linking in chat?

How can one do this, if it's not a feature then why the heck isn't it? Want to show friends what I craft them without having to type out all the stats.

This would be a good function, so far the only way I've found out how to do it is to put the item in a trade window.

drag the item to the chatbox boom!

Can we please get this feature added? It's would be great.

I have tried this, it only links the name and nothing else.. At least i trade this in Free company chat and it did not work

When you mouse over the text it will bring up the item's card showing stats. PS3 users will need to enable mouse/cursor mode.
