How to get more and different fishing bait?

Im at the fishing guild in Limsa, but I cant find a merchant there selling anything - like bait?

Goto Hawkers' Alley and look for the Fieldcraft Vendor.

As you progress in level the various camps and hamlets have vendors that will sell you different baits in their tools section.
