Policy on inactive accounts?

I haven't been able to find information on what happens to your character if your account is inactive for too long. So if I don't feel like playing for a while, and don't pay a sub, anyone know how long my character is kept or if it can restored?

SE didn't delete this one's account after 3 years of not playing 1.0, so it is safe to assume that your account will be safe if you decide to come back to the game once it is stabilized.
