borrowed skills~?

was just wondering if anyone had any recommendations for the skills I'm going need access to via other jobs to excel in the archer class. any tips or suggestions are appreciated. ^^;

CON:

Cure / Cure II / Traits overall and Shock Spikes / Protect / Shell for solo.

THM:

Regen / Regen II / Siphon MP(not that relevant anymore on this patch) and maybe Absorbs.

GLA:

Still Precision, not very useful though. / Luminous Spire

LNC: (the most useful for xclassing so far)

Feint / Invigorate I / Invigorate II / Comrade in Arms I / Comrade in Arms II / Trammel / Heavy Trammel / Ferocity I / Ferocity II / Twisting Vice / Pikemanship Trait / Collusion

PUG:

Concussive Blow II / Blindside / Blindside II / Pounce, and if you're into evading..you can get Feather Foot and equivalents.

MRD:

Trunksplitter II / Skull Sunder II

I may have forgot something, so I'll edit if I remember anything.

PS: Note that most attack skills i'm suggesting(preferably II versions), are used as incapacitating skills, which you'll only use on NM's and incapacitating.

have just barely begun taking some of these classes to 10 to start with, its going to be interesting to see how arc solo and duo goes. my attempt at soloing something my pug could(easily at that >.>) ended in disaster as i lived with 61 hp so its looking like conjurer gets my attention for skills first =P

on that note- since I'm still a little ways from party readiness, do you have skill order you work for soloing? I understand kill it before it kills me but i still feel like I'm missing something =s

My advice:

Get everything to 20. That will take most people around 30 hours of playtime, but it will give you a foundation of skills that will make leveling any of those jobs to 50 much easier. If you plan on taking Archer to 50 first as your main job, Lancer would be a great choice for a job to level to 50 second as your main subjob because there are so many skills to take that make you a better DD.
