Just wondering what I need to do to get to another city in game? Guild quest level?
Hello! When you progress in the main scenario quests, you'll get an airship pass which lets you travel to other cities. You should get there around level 14-15. You can also get from Ul'dah to Gridania (or the other way around, of course) by walking, but airship is the only way to get to / from Limsa.
Concentrate on doing the main story quests first up to at least lvl 15-20. You can tell they are the main story quests because the NPC will have an icon that looks like its on fire kinda, different than normal quest icons. This will pretty much show you all of the normal parts of the game and get you on an airship to both of the other cities.
