We keep getting these generic statements on locking servers out but whats the status on making new ones or allowing us to create characters on the ones that already exist.... I buy a game.... and then cant play it. How awesome is that.

When a sever is locked does it stay locked for good or will they open it up again in a bit as I currently have 3 friends stuck on the character create screen that bought the game today because they can't join our server.

I think the big mistake SE made was looking at SWTOR.
That game launched with way to many servers and left 90% of the servers underpopulated a simple fix merge a few servers job done.
SE have took the other approach not enough servers fix add more servers this however like mergeing servers takes time. meaning a lot of people who have brought the game are struggling to play it they WILL lose a lot of players because of it, its not even the weekend and they are struggling the weekend will see a massive influx of players who cant play during the week because of work.
having to many servers and merging is always better than not having enough and adding at least players can still play the product they brought even if servers are at a low volume
the game already has a running joke that the hardest boss is the 1017 boss i myself am fighting it at the moment at is winning
First impressions of the game +1 its a great game to play
First impressions of SE -10 a joke of company release a game then has to stop sales servers all full almost always
Will the game be a success the game its self is fun to play highly addictive so far however SE's complete F*&k up of a launch will alienate a lot of people if the problem with lack of worlds/servers isnt fixed before the weekend influx -
