I've been on for 3 hours and I DC because the servers are unstable. I should have my spot saved for reconnection instead of being told the servers are full. What am I paying for? The ability to wear out my 0 key trying to reconnect?
Also add an AFK kick, people just sit in game AFK 24/7 so they don't lose login spots. This would solve the 1017 problem.
At least you managed to play for 3 hours. I'm approaching the two hour mark playing the mini game of entering the Cactuar server.
Edit : I detest the afkers, but there would need to be a pretty intensive script to check then boot those players. A simple "has not moved" script is easily foiled with a macro or auto running in to a corner.
SE is directly to blame for the influx of AFK people not wanting to log out. The current system they are using to limit logins is inadequate. No queue, no lines, just keep trying. Until they implement a fair system to login, people are going to stay logged in to avoid the debacle. Unfortunately, there is no sure way to stop it. There are too many 3rd party programs that can simulate activity.
We will just have to wait a week for the improvements to come along to relieve the overcrowding. Until then, I recommend following suit and staying logged in yourself. If you can't beat em' join em'.
hey guys, im looking for a legitimate place to report 90000 + 1017. mostly the 90000 error as it hits me in every dungeon or after 15-20 minutes of inactivity.
