Do Bonus attributes affect my pets?

If I didn't get this completely wrong we cannot allocate attribute points fo Scholar and Summoner separately but once for Arcanist and this stacks with both jobs then. (Am I mistaken?)

Now, I really really love both jobs and I would like to play both effectively but with the points I have to sort of focus on a role as either healer or damamge dealer. However if my pets have independent stats then I could still fall back on them, e.g. allocate healer stats and use my iffy etc. as damage source (or vice versa go more dd and have still heals of my fairy - if I one day can control her effectively, that is :P).

If my pets are influenced by my own stats then this logic doesn't work of course, so I wonder, do my attributes and hence my variable bonus attributes affect my pets' attributes?


P.S. I know there are roll-back items but besides they seem not to be available as easy as a finger snap (so I probably can't constantly switch between smn and sch and reallocate each time) to constantly have to restat doesn't look to attractive. Rather like a work around.

I really wish we could allocate bonus stats for each job seperately. I love FFXIV for the sake of role-taking freedom. Please don't destroy this. When you throw two great but complementary jobs on one class then one is really unlucky if one loves both jobs a lot (or wants to have both as main...) :(
