Screenshots and HUD layout (PS3)

Hi, everyone! First of all, it's great to be posting on here now that the game is officially released! :o

Anyways, I'm not sure if this was the best place to post this, but...Is there a way on the PS3 to hide all of the HUD...widgets...? (I am so tech UNsavy :confused: ).

Basically, I am trying to take a screen shot that isn't cluttered with my chat window, hot bar, map, and what-have-you...Any advice?

L1 + Select gets rid of the HUD for taking pics.

- Just don't forget to turn it back on ;)

I've actually started using it when traveling around towns or on Chocobo. It makes things more exciting :o

But it is kind of weird....everything is so spacious. I wonder if the designers were considering HUD layout when making buildings and such. Cause those roofs are taaaaaalll.

I like how on the PS3 we can actually take a screenshot with the HUD up. That was the one thing that annoyed me about the FFXI on the PS2... I could never get screenshots of text or anything lol
