No Mouse Over Info

I've been trying to play over the last couple days, but I can't seem to get any info on equipment, items, skills, or UI when I place my mouse over what I want to know about. This became quite the issue now that I specifically need some level 5 armor to begin a quest, but I don't even know what to buy at the store, since nothing shows up

Is there some setting that I'm not aware of?

You might of accidentally hidden the mouse over UI component; I am at work atm and can't walk you through that though.

And indeed I did. Apparently it was set for playing with my gamepad since I had it plugged in when I started playing

Go to system - > Hud Layout -> Item Help.
That should get you to resolve your issue
