Sidequests and Cid

So, I've been doing some of the new sidequests and so far I'm loving them. No more of the "Kill 8 ...". I'm starting to feel thre pressure of the iminent attack from the empire, which is quite good.

One of them caught my atention. In Ul'dah's Sacrarium, there's a sidequest rank 15 (im not gonna spoil it, but it's about airships) which is actually very good and even instanced! In the final dialogue, he says something like:

"I've heard the master at the Ironworks has been paying visits to the sultana's palace of late. They say he is a prodigy when it comes to machinery. But many wonder, can he match the military technologies of the Empire? But the point is moot. There is none more gifted than he in his field, and so rely upon him we must."

This sounds a LOT like Cid. What do you guys think? Can Cid be the Garlond Ironworks Master? The one who created the fantastic Garlond Goggles XD And if so, aren't the Ironworks related to the Garleans?

I also forgot to mention that some of them allow 2 more members to come with you. That is a great thing :)

Some are really good. I'm enjoying the variety. They are truly a step forward for the sidequests, and not like the last ones. Those were really just a groundwork for them, it seems.
