Server transfers

So yesterday I read on another forum that SE stated there will be a server transfer function coming sometime mid Sept.

That's great because I want to play on my guild server but that server was locked down BEFORE the official launch.

So I started a character on an open NA server. On launch day I kept getting the dreaded error stating the server is full and try again later.

So here I am....paid for the game but can't play. So I decided I'd join another open server...BUT all NA servers were either closed down to new characters or full. EVERY single one of them.

Okay I still want to play so I may as well join a EU server. That worked no problem considering I'm located in California and so far I have been able to play a little. Cool.

But now I'm wondering: If they to allow server transfers....will they also allow EU to NA transfers? I mean the only servers I can get into are EU servers but my guild plays on a NA server. Anyways....what do you guys think?

Well they are implementing new servers/worlds next week, also they said by mid september they will offer paid server transfers if you need to go to a server with your friends on it, i'm sure this means you will be able to go to any North American server. Keep in mind the only reason these servers are locked right now is because of the vast amount of people who are overpopulating the servers. Once everything stabilizes you should be good to go. I'm also in Southern California (actually at work right now...allegedly) and i'm on adamantoise server but all my ex guildies from this other game I used to play are on Behemoth so I will be taking advantage of the paid program as soon as it launches.

Well yeah that is why I'm currently playing on a EU server. In hopes that I can transfer over to my guild server eventually. If not for that I'd not even play this game right now (though I did pay for it)

My only fear is they will not allow transfers between NA/EU but I'll cross my fingers. :cool:

They should offer free transfers for those that couldn't play with their friends due to their server issues but I won't hold my breath.

I'm playing on JP servers cause its not as crowded and a lot easier to do things. I have had no luck trying to play on na or eu servers. Hopefully the service will come quick so I can transfer my other two characters I can nvr log onto over to jp servers and move my jp character over to the legacy server there

I hope you can transfer from EU/JP to NA servers. I have not been able to create a character on the NA servers in almost a week and its rather annoying. I am playing on a JP server right now but I would much rather be on a NA one once everything gets settled.
