class missions and guildhests and leves.
The first time you do a guildhest...it gives double the rewards! So do them all as soon as you can access a new one!
I notice the bonuses on the first go, but then the gil earned drops drastically. Do higher level guildhest/leves give better gil rewards?
As Tezeret said, guildhests and leves can help supplement your gil needs. If you don't have them unlocked already, just keep playing the main story line. They will eventually open up to you.
Also, if you do crafting leves, try to turn in high quality items for what ever is asked of you. You will get more exp and gil.
Yes. Xp and Gil from ALL sources...gets higher as you gain levels or do higher missions etc.
doing hiest and turning up the difficulty..and completing option objectives gives nice bonus gil.
You can also play the AH a bit. People are stupid and like to just list items for the default price, or cheaper.
Why people would sell an item on the AH for less than it vendors is beyond me, so take advantage of the situation and enjoy your gil.
Guildhests only give good gil the first time through as a first time bonus. Pick up a crafting an gather class. I made a killing just from selling ore from lvl 1-20 on Miner and I haven't even begun to mine the good shtuff.
I'd have recommended gathering and leves. As a fisher I seem to make 1k gil in around 20 minutes because I seem to get alot of high level catches and HQ catches too (level 14 currently)
@Shori
What fish you selling and for how much roughly?
I love fishing! but i haven't even bothered trying to sell any cause i use it for food. but i could always use fuller pockets too..
I've been wondering this myself.
How does the Market Board work? Are they exclusive to each city, or does it share between them? If it doesn't I have a feeling certain items will be worth more in certain cities, like selling ores to Limsa because they have Armorsmithing and Blacksmithing, but no mining. I haven't bothered trying to sell anything yet, I'm still getting my crafting and gathering classes up
