FFXIV has stopped working

Ok so... since the new client update, I can't play anymore.

As soon as I try to login, I get this Windows 8 error: Final Fantasy XIV: A Real Reborn has stopped working.

I even tried to delete all folders, reinstall the game, and nothing changed, I can't start the update.

God, looks like I'll never be able to play anymore until you fix this.

I've had the same error but on Windows 7 (64bit). Happened at the end of a cutscene of one of the story line quests (forgot the name i'm afraid, but it's one of the ones around The Drybone area, around level 20ish. FOR THE LOVE OF GOD HELP!!

Same thing happens to me.
