a quick friendly archer hello

hello hello all, I'm currently installing the game and after a few months of debating on classes prior to joining I had decided on archer. I've made a small attempt to follow some forum discussions here and there but i was a bit disappointed on the actual activity of most forums sites.

that being said, now that i have access to the game and these forums I'd love to see more communication and discussion about how the game is treating you all ^^;

I plan to try and help keep these forums active, and I hope others do as well.

I too have just started playing and chose an Archer. I'm currently bumbling my through everything, hehe :)

Feel free to ask questions and don't let the trolls discourage you, some of us are actually extremely helpful. :P

sadly the only troll I'm afraid of is trundle. >.>;;; but yes! I love helpful people <3 I try to be one when I can.

and is it me or is there like no population in Gridania(Besaid)? I'm assuming everyone flocks to Limsa then? My room mate started his lnc there and said he turned down settings for populated areas and I was like.... "wait... you've seen people D="

Gridania & Limsa Lominsa are the ghost towns, Ul'Dah has become the central hub for most game activity at the moment. Grid & LL are usually travelled to for class/story quests. Some people hang out in them, but if you wanna be around everyone else, I'd suggest taking a run to Ul'Dah.

Yeah, once you get to a certain point in the main story, all your quests start in Uldah and send you all over the place, just to go back to Uldah at the end. That's probably half the reason everyone goes there. That, and a lot of people hate the area around Grid. The city itself is fine, but the Black Shroud. . . yeah. . .

Oh a Besaid Archer huh? Welcome to my neck of the woods. Don't listen when people say that Limsa is desolate. I see plenty of people there on a regular basis. Waaaaaay better than Gridania.

well, luckily ill be going around to the other places shortly so ill hopefully get to see people again =s
