Only starting happening when i got home from work today and had to update the client.
It was working fine when i logged in this morning.

I had a simlair problem. I found out it was my router blocking ports/firewall. I'd double check.. it worked for me.

Had this problem in beta, having it again right now, which honestly pisses me the hell off. What fixed it then was a generous person, who was not getting that error, sharing their boot files for us to download. Gonna try a system restore and see if that fixes it.
Likewise, I initially thought it was just the server still down for maintenance. I'm not so sure now as it would appear from other forum posts that the servers are back.
Interesting lots of other people are getting the exact same error as me. I've never had this before. The launcher updated as normal, but the game won't check, after I log in.
Can anyone say if they're back in yet?
Normally there's a maintenance follow-up, to say it's finished.
If this persists, I'm going to be a very pissed of customer now. What with all the issues. This, sadly, will be the straw that broke the camels back.
