Mount Speed/Ingame Clock

Is there a way to upgrade your mount speed? Because I'm a lvl 37 scholar and doing fate runs starting with everyone in the group going towards the fate everyone is literally double my speed. I'm finding 75% of the time I don't get any exp reward cause I can't get there on time. Am I missing out on something because this is becoming a real problem.

The other issue is the Clock at top right corner. For the local time doesn't stay accurate for me. It got to the point where ingame the LT was 2hours behind what my pc said. Is there anyway to fix this or am I missing something.
