Can't take screenshots on PS3

Though I know the servers are now in maintenance, I noticed something while playing earlier today
I know how to make screenshots on my PS3, but if I do, it keeps saying that the screenshot failed and keeps doing that over and over again

I would just like to know if other PS3 users are having the same problem or if it may be something on my end?

The same is happening with me. They're looking into that situation as well.

L1 + Start = Screenshot
L1 + Select = Hide HUD

Check the PS3 Manual (Windows).

The screenshot fails everytime I try, probably a bug or something

LOL yeah I kinda got the interpretation right after re-reading it. Nonetheless, I think it's nice to have links to the manuals... which I stumbled across when browsing through Lodestone while the servers under maintenance - which seems quite often.

Where do the screenshots go when u take them?
