Intel Integrated graphics issue

Hi All
I cannot seem to be able to set my graphics card. The game defaults to the integrated HD4600 graphics, but I have a GeForce GT750m graphics card too. I have searched through the nvidia settings and attempted to make the GeForce card default for everything, but whenever I launch the game, it does not change. I am only getting maybe 15fps on low HD graphics, and 7 on High HD graphics.

Which I thought would help solve my issue, but unfortunately it didnt. I highly doubt that the client is "confused" since I am only getting 15fps. Keep in mind this is playing in windowed mode 1280x720.

The funny thing with nVidia Optimus is that the integrated Intel graphics and nVidia Optimus are one together. Unlike desktop counterpart where you can disable Intel HD graphics, on Optimus (laptops) there's no such option.

I am able to get mine to use nVidia GT730M (with Intel HD4000). What I did is on NVIDIA Control Panel, 3D Settings > Manage 3D setting > Program Settings (tab) > Add > Browse > find the folder where FFXIII ARR installed > Add Current Folder, and make sure to select "High-performance NVIDIA processor" in the dropdown after you have added the folder.


Edit: If you have launched the game previously, when you clicked "Add" you should be presented with a list of programs and you should be able to find FFXIV ARR in there too.

So I've done this, and whenever I go into config in the game, it still only reads HD4600. I cant change it :(

Well weird. Now I'm getting 60 reported fps. Whatevs, im happy now.

I should take Chip's advice, whenever you reboot, reboot 3 times.
