Chocobo Fighting Bug

When engaged with a monster w/ your Chocobo companion out.

Any binds on said monster cause the Chocobo to disengage from the fight.

Confirmed on Archer and Black Mage.

This is not a bug its a fight or flight mechanism in case you sleep or bind the mob to run away since any damage other then dot's will cause sleep or bind to disappear

This should be changed then for binds. People should be able to recall their own companions, When running away.

Why would binds break on damage also. That's silly. A 5 second bind cannot possibly be considered cc compared to a 30second sleep

I'm not sure how it is on other classes since I've only leveled cnj and gld but Fluid Aura{instant cast} which knocks back the target and binds them comes in pretty handy when needing to escape ,re-group or cast sleep. Sleep(repose) takes a lot longer to cast and can be interrupted so its only really useful in dungeons when the group grabs more then they can handle or if you want to get a quest item and don't feel like fighting in solo. Can't you just macro your spell and order your chocobo to attack again in the same macro?
