My sole complaint.

A little confused as to why I cannot speak to a single NPC when on my chocobo...its drives me nuts and confuses me why I lose my ability to speak when on a bird...thats like a cowboy on a horse not being able to talk until he gets off...makes no damn sense.

Yeah, that annoyed me a little too. Although it's a low priority issue at the moment.

Minor but yeah it's a little inconvenient to have to dismount just to talk to NPC's.

Most likely because it's a separate model from the player model (Notice how your character disappears and reappears on a chocobo?)
The devs most likely just didnt add text coding to the riding model in order for you to interact with a NPC while mounted.

Not that it's a very big deal. Especially once you get a company choco and you can call it whenever you want.
