[suggestion] one free transfer after server capacity increased

This may already be in the pipeline along with the server capacity upgrades, but if not can I suggest a free transfer once the upgrades are complete.

I suspect it would create a lot of goodwill and allow people that got separated from friends and family to get back together.

It could be done the same way legacy people were allowed to nominate a new server prior to launch.

It's great to hear that more and more people are joining the game! It's possible that a lot of people who were holding off are now getting the game due to the positive reviews of ARR.

edit: Just to clarify, I don't know if they are adding new servers or increasing how many people can log in to the existing servers. I didn't mean to imply one way or another.

That is something they really should do, but they have to keep the restriction for legacy -> non-legacy.

Agreed.

non-legacy -> legacy on the other hand should be fine so that new people can join their friends/family who played 1.0

Don't forget legacy who invited friends and family to play with them and have been unable too. Legacy -> Non-Legacy :P

Yeah it would be really nice if we got some free xfers. I still have 4 more friends wanting to play in my group but they are unable to get on the server my group is on. :(

I personally think they should open more servers rather than increase the capacity of the current ones. I also think that they should offer a free transfer to accommodate this, of course.

The reason I say there should be more servers is because of just how congested the current servers are.. and not just because of the lag or duty finder issues. I'm talking about FATEs literally taking 3-5 minutes and being a joke, or having to fight 10 other people for the same 5 mobs and never getting any credit unless you get lucky and happen to have one spawn near you.

I understand that the crazy spawn-camping and congestion is due, in part, to it being the opening week... but I do think keeping the world population where it is would do wonders for the community. I'd like to actually know who's on my server rather than the few 50s that currently exist crashing an entire zone because Behemoth spawned... (That happened tonight. And we lost because everyone DCd...)
