Hi, I've been playing since beta 3 but today I got my CE from Gamestop and come home to install it.
I re-download the game and everything but when I get to the part where I need to patch it, it downloads for 20 minutes then just stop saying I have an error and to restart the game.
What?! Anyone have a solution? I've restarted off and on for the past 10 hrs to no avail. Just really frustrated cause I was playing fine during early access.

This right here was my biggest struggle into getting FF14 working lol; this is because their patcher dosn't verify the integrity of the files it's downloading and fails to patch. Basically you are getting junk data from their servers.
No joke this is what I did and it worked.
Disable your anti-virus and make sure you run the launcher as an administrator; second don't install FF14 into the My Programs location put it anywhere but there. Restart your machine (Windows might complain about the AV but ignore that for now). Then re-download / patch and if you are lucky this will work.
FF14 Patch Data is stored at "{DRIVE}:\Users\{USER}\Documents\My Games\FINAL FANTASY XIV - A Realm Reborn\downloads\ffxivpatch" you can delete those files and re-attempt to download if it still doesn't work.
