PS3 - Selecting name in chat + fighting = locked controls

Cause: Tried to select a name in chat and "tell" however, before I selected "tell" I started fighting a mob using L2 and R2 combos to cast spells with the pop up "tell/friend request" window open.

Issue: This caused the game to only respond to Select, L2, and R2. I could type in the chat box but could not hit "enter" to send any chat through, couldn't use select to cycle through menus, select was working but wouldn't show visually on screen T_T

Fix: Had to quit the entire game, and look, now I can't get back on :/
