PS3 Collector's Edition Seperate from Early Access?

I pre-ordered the Collector's Edition of this game. I was in the final Beta, and had my character in the early-access. Even before they fixed the PS3 registration code, I was still playing with my character. Now it is telling me that the CE is a seperate service therefore I have to make all new characters just to use the bonuses I got with it. Is there a way to move my character(s) to the new service or do I just loose them and have to start all over on the CE one?
