Been trying to enter Sargatanas for the past 3 hours, just to met a big solid 1017 error wall

I know its too late (right now) to increase server capacity, but I hope SE scheduled one on the next who-know-when server down

Balmung is the same way. I wonder if they simply shut off logins altogether. Has ANYONE been able to log in at all these past few hours?

Nope. Got home from work about two hours ago, and nothing. I expected as much, but I was able to get in with some effort yesterday. My hunch is it's completely cut-off for the time being.

Same, I have not been able to get in since I got home from my evening class and that was 7pm eastern. So I am going on three and a half hours of 1017 every time I try to log in.

Never thought I'd be happy to see maintenance, but that will at least dump all the AFK'ers.

I'm probably the only one who had no issue logging in since EA?

there will be new worlds added soon, which is good because like almost all worlds are locked to CC.

The maintenance isn't due for another couple of hours and by the time it happens, many of us will be either sleeping or busy with other things. It'll be flooded by AFKers again eventually, so I'd hardly call that a solution. At all.

How could they underestimate the number of players when they knew how many people pre-ordered the game? They had weeks to prepare the infrastructure. What was the purpose of Phase 4 again?

SE doesnt seems to take lesson from all major event (patch) in the past
Job launching, Van Darnus battle, server shutdown, and now this
