Good question, I would like to know as well
It's honestly all how you want to build your dragoon, do you want the lighter armor with determination? Or a more tankier effect. The real question is how you want to build it and what materia you're going with.
Great question and thanks for the reply! Looks like I need to level up Armorsmith and not Leathersmith. Good to learn this at level 7 leathersmith rather than wasting anymore time on it.
