No auto log off feature?

All,
As everyone is well aware of the issues with the server congestion I propose a solution, because as of right now there is no AUTO LOG OFF feature in the game....so users are taking advantage of this because they do not wish to fight the congestion and stay logged in until they get off of work/ school and then commence to playing while everyone else is busy wishing that the "1017" would magically come alive and transform into a que number. Square Enix this is a huge issue and I would wager a big part of the congestion, if you are not up to doing so, or think its not a issue.... do a SQL query or just Powershell query on your databases and see how long some of the IDLE times are... I bet you will be shocked...

I dont think they are listening...

If they were they would have heard that many of us would be a lot happier with any kind of word from them yet they stay silent....the simplest thing they can do is make a forum post yet they wont even do that...makes me think they arent even working on the issues

Yeah, (had to edit as it went out before I could confirm my source) For anyone who has played and left their character IDLE I would be interested in seeing if they were every prompted or kicked.

There is not...just read around....people are intentionally staying on so they dont have to deal with this mess.

IDK I logged in my account at lunch to skip the queue, went back to work came home had supper looked at my PC to see I was still logged in. Played away.

That is just pathetic then. That is a must with ANY MMO period. Its to reduce stress on the servers and congestion...by not having that its causing this issue.... grr as a infrastructure developer who creates scripts to fix issues like this bull crap...this is just sad.

They will need to do something about this problem sooner than that I think. This is only going to get worse as the days roll on and more people get on the servers then AFK when they can't play. I imagine a healthy number of people stuck on the outside right now will AFK from now on rather than log out once they get back in. I know I will. Wait until half the server is sitting there AFK while hordes of others can't get in. It sucks, but if you are playing and need to go for 30 minutes or an hour, a lot of people won't want to risk not being able to play for the remainder of the day and evening. Sucks. They need to implement rolling restarts of the servers until they can get more capacity, up the limits....something. Tomorrow.

Still no AFK log out feature added.
