Why do you automatically fail Guildleaves when you disconnect?

Why do you fail a Guildleave when you disconnect and still have 20+ min remaining?

Have the developers commented on this? Are the planing on fixing this at some point? If I remember correctly this was a issue back in Beta and I figured it would have been one of the first things they fixed.

I would also like to know this. It's really annoying popping Aspect etc, running up to the enemy, popping a job ability and *poof* Game crashes.
Makes me feel more let down than a drunken one night stand :(

Would like this issue to be addressed aswell. It should just work on time, just like the crafting buffs you can buy.

You automatically fail because, if you don't, people would start doing verdure/inferno until boss pops, force DC and then come back and redo. IMO its not a bug, its a countermeansure because all players are cheaters unless they prove the opposite. I don't like it either, but i agree with it since, even with it failing people STILL fail in this leves on purpose to keep them...just imagige if you could just skip the failing part.

If the boss just popped and I d/c, I expect to come back and find the boss still popped, probably standing over my corpse. I don't think anyone's expecting a free leve reset out of this, just for the leve to stay exactly where it was when they d/c'd.

If everyone played "right", there would be no need of losing leve upon DC...but there's always those twho think they're smater than others and that will try and use this as an easy way of getting free leves.

There's only 2 points that IMO should be adjusted upon DCing:

- Leve owner should have it marked so, if he DC in party and come back he still receives full reward and not leve-sharing reward when he joins party again.

- When you DC, come back and rejoin the party, you should be able to receive back the aspect and eventual links that happened to be active at start of leve.
