Cannot play FFXIV; multiple error messages

We all know about the 1017 "world full" error message. I've been trying to get into the game for nearly 2 hours now. I'm not exaggerating!! I've been trying since 4:30 PM and it's now past 6:20 PM. I'm a full-time student at a university and also have a job, so WHEN am I going to be able to enjoy this game? Now that I have my two days off of work, I was expecting to enjoy my time off, but now I must endure the 1017 message instead.

Whenever I DO get into a queue, it lets me into the loading screen, only to encounter a "lobby error" message, or a "connection to the server is lost" message--EVERY SINGLE TIME I get into a queue, thinking I will get in. This is RIDICULOUS.

At my place of employment, if something like this happened, they would seek the assistance of people from different areas in order to satisfy our customers, rigorously working up a sweat in order to fix the problem. I'm NOT a satisfied customer in the least right now.
