Will armorcrafting be profitable?

I'm going Armorcrafting for materia melding with my GLD/PLD, but I was thinking, with AF beign in the game, will armorcrafting be profitable?

AF isnt the end of all gears, unless it is crafter/gatherer AF you are talking about. Even the no-star recipes will be worth materia conversions, so they'll sell. I also don't think they have added the recipes that can compete with allagan gear, or the upgraded AF gear. I think once Crystal tower gets added, we'll see those recipes spring up, and that is where the mats for them will likely come from, maybe some from bahamut dungeon once they finish developing the mats required.

Also when it comes to the 1-star recipe gear, all of it is better than the first AF sets for battle classes.

What is 1-star recipe?

a 1 star recipe is a lvl 50 higher difficulty synth. It requires much higher craftsmanship or control to complete than normal lvl 50 synths. 2 star recipes are even higher in terms of requirements and difficulty.

i wonder if it will be profitable to just ask for tips when putting materia in other peoples lvl 50 gear?
