Can somebody please explain the process for changing SE to CE?

Hallelujah! I can finally make a thread to ask this question..

Mogstation still says standard edition, not collectors. Now that the hard copy has arrived and I no longer am at the mercy of emails that never arrive, how do I shift this thing over to Collectors edition? I'm on the Mogstation now.. am I supposed to click Add Platform? What am I supposed to do? What is this 20-digit code everyone keeps talking about? I have yet to see any of them add up to 20 digits, I've seen 12 digits and 18, nothing else... None of the codes in my CE box match what was emailed to me... Am I supposed to scrap my Beta/EA char and make a new one? Am I supposed to be doing this from PS3? /fume

Someone please clarify step-by-step how this is done?

Instructions for switching FFXIV Standard Edition to Collectors Edition for Playstation 3. (HARD COPY)

Logon to your Sony account through PS
Go to the Playstation Store
Select Redeem Codes in the main menu
Input the 12-digit code that appears on the back of the "Collectors Edition A Realm Reborn" slip, should look like: XXXX-XXXX-XX##

Will try this after maintenance today and see if I can get my acct info showing correctly, and obtain my CE items.

I'm in the same boat. Not really sure how to change it since I never got a CE code.

If you have a standard 1.0 PC account, to upgrade to collectors you must:

1. Digitally upgrade it.
2. Buy the PS3 Collectors edition and add it as a service account.

Which sounds like BS to me. I don't even own a PS3, I wanted the physical collectors though, so I am supposed to buy the CE for a platform I don't own? So, if you find out if this is true or not, let us know, please :)

Anyone have a number for actual phone support? Or a link to clear instructions?

I finally got my CE code. You should receive a separate code in an email. My guess is that they were distributing them in waves. I also had to get the mail out of my gmail SPAM folder. These emails came directly from DigitalRiver who initially processed my transaction online through the SE website. The emails came from webhelp.v4@digitalriver.com which also sent the order confirmation when I preordered. Hope yours is as simple! Cheers!

I had the SE 1.0 for PC, pre-ordered the CE PS3. Yesterday I got a notice when I tried to log in, it asked me to connect the PS3 CE account with any existing one (PSN with PC in my case). I chose my only account and connected them. I went to the delivery Moogle and got my CE stuff on my 1.0 SE character.
I wanna add, that in my case I did not receive any pre-order code, everything simply appeared on my account, including early access and whatnot, so SE and Sony might be doing things differently.

I got mine from said web host but I still don't know or where to active my serial number.... it starts with a RCWU , xxxx,xxxx,xxxx,xxxx..im at a lost...

I'm in the same boat. Bought the CE directly from SE store.

I have my email and the number, but everywhere that I enter either of them (xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx or xxxxxxx-xxx-xxxxxx-xxx), I get code invalid(even on the product registration page for SE!). I'm not playing on PS3, and I only get prompted to add a PS3 when I click on 'add a service account' from MogStation. This is really annoying.
