Hey there.
As you all know traveling in Eorzea is pretty much easy. This thanks to the Aetheryte teleportation ability.
My ideia (once the chocobos are implemented in the game), to reduce teleporting Aetheryte (not all aetheryte should be teleport points). That way travel will be a little more harder, increasing a little game's difficulty... What do you think?
(Put two or three teleport points by area, and not all Camps)
To add to that, make us have to use the Aethecytes to teleport, instead of just teleporting from anywhere. And possibly make the city Aethecite teleport an entrance to the city only (from the field or another city).
Certainly, I think once additional transportation options have been implemented, the teleport system will need a review..
But in brief I couldn't see the harm of starting by, once comprehensive transport options are in place, removing the ability to teleport from any location and instead make it so that one can only teleport through nodes, gates, and aetherites.
