Where is the server queue? 1017 Error

Well, I could barely ever log into the early access, and fanboys said "You didn't pay for early access".

Ok, Well, today is launch day, and I still can't log into the server because the world is full and there is no queue.
At this point, I know I paid to play a game.

Please don't give me any of this "You have to accept poor launches from MMOs" BS.

There have been many MMO, that have been launched since 1997, granted, in the early days, it was an issue.
In 2013, this lack of foresight is no longer a reasonable excuse.

They had an idea, based on beta testers and preorders. It is better to have more servers than needed, and merge them later, than to piss people off by not having enough servers to allow logins and also disabling the login queue. What is up with that?
Sadly, I expected much better from a company like Square Enix...

i know that new games use to have login problems when staring the game but not when u are in the games and trying to get online on the server u want to play on because there are no more room. that is something they should have forseen like any other game company on this ball.

you are correct. much of this could have been avoided.
They had indication based off stress tests and betas, and early access.

Infact...you cant even say early access shouldn't count because you didnt pay for it. that bullshit. many people pre-ordered because early access was an advertised feature. that counts as buying it. even if its not game time. fact is...it was a promised selling feature. thus...not being able to play early access is a problem. legally its not fraud because the license agreement limits what they owe us from a server problem standpoint. we've agreed to the terms that its available as they are able to provide it etc...

But that is no way to keep players happy or willing to subscribe where there are plenty of other games to choose from.

I too am getting a little pissed off with these 1017 error unless you happen to login to the game pre 3pm GMT which i'm only able to do 2 times a week.
it seams odd that SE didn't predict this amount of server load during peck hours taking into account legacy numbers + preorders.
