ARRPOD Podcast has a Free Company on Ragnarok!!

Hello fellow Eorzeans

Many of you may not have heard of our podcast known as "Arrpod", a FF14;ARR podcast with added pirate. We can be found at Arrpod Official Site

As Foxx and myself adventure through Eorzea giving you help and banter, we decided to make a Free Company.

The Free company is called The Black Pearl, at the moment a group of friends and podcast fans hailing from the EU and the States. We're social, we have voice comms and we do intend to do end game content.

If you are looking for something social, then look no further, we don't care if you're on a console, pc, laptop, chocobo, lalafell, anyone is welcome. All we ask, be friendly, be active, aged 18+ and have fun!

Ah I seen some of the shout adverts for you guys, thought you were just some people with a Pirates of the Caribbean fetish :)
One question, do you have to be on voice comms all the time, or does chat take place in the FC channel too?
I like voice for organised raids, but loathe the constant nattering in my ears at other times.

Thank you for your post Azimov, we have spoken in game but in case anyone else does wonder.

Voice comms do not need to be used all the time, for events such as raids in the future then yes. But no I wouldn't expect anyone to sit with a headset on constantly or you'd miss the in game sounds! :cool:

Just to answer a couple of questions that have come my way.

Yes we have players from the EU as well as NA regions so there are always players online.

I enjoy the podcast! I was wondering how you got things up on iTunes. I have a youtube based news cast about FFXIV and was wondering how I can get the audio on iTunes. Do I need an Rss feed? How do I get that setup?

Something for a podcast topic: What are your thoughts on the class/job system now that we have played it for a while. What do you think about the future of it (coming out with more jobs for existing classes like the ACN = SMN/SCH)?
