It makes me sad that Ifrit is now a Pokemon. He is just a little pet. Where is his size? I am not saying he should be HUGE. I am saying he should look his part. I swear if I see Titan and he is 2 feet tall I am going to flip.

There have been videos/images of Ifrit, Titan and Garuda for awhile now. They are all miniaturized. If you actually read up on Summoner, they are not controlling the Primals in any way. They are harnessing the essence of their power which materializes into a pet form. They essentially ARE Primal Pokemon. Titan looks like a smaller yellow/gold version of himself, so I guess you will be flipping. Although I enjoyed the avatars of XI, having the summons be smaller does reduce on-screen clutter, especially for things such as FATEs. The Primals are also much more detailed and having a ton of them on screen following characters around could be resource-intensive for some people.
Summoners felt powerful and cool in FFXI. I just feel like a pokemon trainer right now. These are not even normal sized pets. They are mini. I know its dumb but it kind of kills the class for me. I expected to show my power in my pets. I dont get to cast fire novas or giant stones or anything like that. I cast dots. I have nothing flashy.

I just saw Titan... I have never been so let down by a SUMMONER... These things look like the old water spirits/earth spirits. Just floating mini elements of lame.
Sorry if it seems like I am upset but I didn't not want to play a Pokemon Trainer. I wanted to play a Summoner. Someone who calls on these great and powerful creatures to do their bidding.
On a side note... I think my house cat can take Titan/Ifrit in a fight. I would put money on it.
Remember these are low lvl Summons who knows how they will end up later.

at lvl 50 they look like low lvl ....and yeah ifrit isnt that bad (if wasnt a floating body on fire with horns) , titan looks retarded , and garuda...ugh.....a green thing with wings....??? pets are small , and the models are dissapointing .....

I'm loving my Summoner, and all of my miniaturized badasses. Now I just need a Bahamut to complete the set. GOTTA CATCH EM ALL!!!
Yeah the summons are pretty disappointing, especially titan, I stopped leveling my arcanist once I saw them in game :(

I dont see a problem with them,they look cool IMO and they actually do stuff,unlike the zillions of ppl. running around with minions(which they love)that absolutely serve no purpose,why not just make minions 30 feet tall.
