Goldspammers! Bahamut take you!!

Please implement a way to report spammers using a right/left click on their name in chatbox to block or blacklist them. I would rather there be a way to block them without filling up a blacklist as they typically delete their character within a few minutes and create a new one to continue spamming, thus filling up any blacklist very quickly. I don't know if there is a limit to how many you can have on your blacklist.

As it is, I have to hit "o" and click on blacklist and scroll up in my chat window to find the exact spelling of their funky long names to type it out and enter it. This gets very tedious after the 5th one in as many minutes.

Agreed. Even tried the in-game support desk, but I'm having issues finding the GM Call! Its a little irritating...

Yes, an option to block people (right click -> block) would be great. It really clutters up the chatwindow quickly...

Gold spammers already... /sigh. Not having this easy way to block them on day one once again shows that SE has never taken MMO gaming 101. I can forgive the lack of easy reporting and blocking but I cant forgive the server lockouts.

I agree. Give us a way to report them. It will make it easier in the long run for everyone.

Blocking is just that character, but reporting is their account... though I would also like an easy way to block for the people in shout going on racist rants, harassing new players with legitimate questions, and the people still trying to figure out why 'face /me' doesn't work for their quest after multiple people have explained it to them and several minutes.

Agreed. Gil spammers already, taking up spots others could be. As well as the no report function. Irritating.

Goldspammers.... the creeps in all MMO's, it really saddens me they took over this soon already.

A right-click block option would be appriciated, or implant something that gets rid of them.
I'm not sure if it's allowed to talk about other MMO's here but.... Tera has no goldspammers, I dunno what they're doing to prevent it but yeah... I haven't seen any goldspammers in Tera, both NA and EU.
It would be awesome if Square could do the same and prevent goldspammers.

Or have an option that prevents people below lvl 10 to whisper you, like Aion has.

I'm no game programmer or anything so I dunno if it's difficult or anything to implant such things, but for starters a right-click block option would be good.

I agree that there needs to be an easier way to report - and a better option than "Cheating" - is it cheating? Is it spam? Is it harassment? Hopefully there will be a huge drop in gil sellers after all the free time runs out.

But take note: anyone you see with a "real" character name (Milliardo Peacecraft was one cited example) is likely to have been a real player who tried to buy gil and got their account taken from them. So the problem isn't just with predatory RMT; people are actually buying their services and giving them a market here.
