Unable to Register ARR on PS3

I received my physical disc in the mail from SE. When I boot up the PS3, and I go to the "Redeem Codes" section, I put in the 12 digit code on the inside leaflet and it gives me an error that the code is no longer valid or that it may be mistyped.

I searched all through the forums, and found that others are having a similar issue.

So I tried to visit the Mog Station and saw that I have only 3 days left of trial on my account... Yet it didn't show my character that is on the NA/EU Server (Ultros).

Is this something we should be worried about? Do I need to send an email to customer support, call SE? I'd really like to get my 30 days of time added to my account before it expires.

Thanks in advance for any help that you might offer in getting things sorted out with this.
