Black screen after install

Yeah had the same problem here on my thread, if you go to last page, you can see how I fixed it for me.

Hah oh jeez reinstalling windows seems like an extreme solution and im on work computer so not sure if thats an option there must be another fix :mad:

Open Internet explorer, tell me if that loads. (I bet it wont) These are the only things that I have found that may fix your problem. http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/i...=1377610133072

that loads fine , ive ever seen a black screen problem like that till i used the FFXIV launcher

Found a fix , Ctrl panel > programs > programs and features > view installed updates > uninstall internet explorer update > reboot .... works now lol
