script error???
So I decided to upgrade my OS to windows 7 ultimate. I ended up having to do a clean install to upgrade no biggie right? Well when I reinstall ffxiv from the actual disc I keep getting a script error. It says " HTML Parsing Error: Unable to modify the parent container element before the child element is closed (kb927917)" any ideas on how to fix it?

Did a google on the error code and got the following link: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/i...c-68b599b31bf5

Well it had more to do with IE. I didn't think it would affect when I open the launcher to hit accept terms and conditions.

Yes, there is a fix somone found for this. What fixed my issue was making sure I had the most up to date IE. I had to get IE 9, was running IE 8 when I got the error.

I had this problem and found a fix for it. You need to go into
Documents -> My Games -> Final Fantasy XIV A Realm Reborn
Open up FFXIV_Boot in Note Pad
Change the number next to EulaAgreement from 0 to 1
That should solve the problem.
Edit: This method shouldn't require you to update your Internet Explorer at all.
